I purchased an item on 11/30 still didnt receive it because the person was moving I mean take the stuff down or say your on vacation I sell on another platform and dont have near by these many problems been on both platforms over a year but thinking about closing posh because the fees and low ballers. I first signed up with Posh a little over 3 weeks ago, and I am BURNT OUT! I offer poshmarks first regret-free promise to sellers. Wow the same thing just happened to me with a $8 dollar dress, the buyer was aware of the damage and asked zillions of questions then purchased the dress which is a expensive item sold for $8 when she received it she instantly open a claim for $8 freaking dollars!! I still have a bit of faith left in eBay thoughand more so in recent years actually. I think I will check out Tradesey and maybe your idea as well . Ive been doing okay overall It hasnt caused me to throw the towel in just yet but it was definitely better than Ebay . When they do send a question, I respond quickly and thoroughly, and I dont feel as if Ive wasted my time if they dont end up buying. It would be interesting to see how many sellers vs buyers are on the app and how many sellers converted to buyers. The worst for me was selling an amazing dress at a very low price just to get something out the door, packing it carefully and attractively, shipping next day only to receive a needs work rating two weeks later for no apparent reason. When I saw the photos, it looks as if the stitching snapped as if they tried it on and broke some parts of the stitching, I only say this because the new loose stitching appeared at the waistband and knee. Poshmark is so fortunate to have this base. I emailed them about that and of course they NEVER replied and just removed that bag as well.
