As Bungie moves away from Halo and leaps into its new Universe, 343 Studios reels in Halo's entire Universe which means that all the Halo 2, 3, ODST and Reach Matchmaking statistics needed to be moved from Bungie's servers to 343's. The transfer started some time in the summer of 2011 and will end on the 31st of March 2012. I'm sure there's lot of good history in there now preserved. Since then, all stats, files, and other data from Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach have lived on in remembrance at halo.bungie.net.
