Like Like The Kanwrite architect nib is designed around a simple concept: it’s a fountain pen nib that is wide when working on the horizontal and narrow on the vertical. Beyond italic and stub nibs you can also play with architect nibs and fude nibs (custom grinds/specialty nibs or inexpensive versions from China which work just as well eg. Writing sample between the Estie Journaler nib (inked with KWZ Honey) and the Sailor PGS in MF (inked with Monteverde California Teal)- you can see that the line width on the vertical strokes with the journaler are much wider than the horizontal strokes, creating a bit of dimension with the writing.
